Jerry's 70th Birthday party

A Funtime was had by all. We ate at Pittsburg Blue restaurant in Maple Grove, Sunday July 29th. The whole family was able to attend, even the two from Sussex, WI.

Beignet time

This is Abby's beignet bought in New Orleans, trouble was she was wearing black shorts and the powdered sugar knows what to do with that color.

Lunch at Caspers - Cherokee of Egan - Est 1971 Pot roast sandwiches, let me describe it. Chunks of tender roast beef placed upon a bun that has a mound of mashed potatoes carmelized onions then the beef on top of this is a lace of onion straws, along the side is a portion of gravy. Shirleen had the slider version, I the sandwich. Roger had a bowl of their Prime Rib and Vegtable soup, looked great. They serve fresh crunchy bread before the meal.
